Manchester University Sports Fair
This years sports fair takes place on 22nd and 23rd September. There will be a korfball stall in the Main Hall of the Student Union on Oxford Road where you’ll get the chance to meet us and find out a bit more about the sport.
First training session
The first training session for all beginners is Wednesday 30th September, 6.00pm - 8.00pm at the Armitage Centre in Fallowfield (map). The first two training sessions are free to all beginners.
Beginners Course
On Sunday 11th October, 3-6pm we will be holding an intensive training session for all beginners to help you get a good feel for the game and for you to start learning some basic tactics. It will be held in the Armitage Centre.
Lancaster Beginners Korfball Tournament
On the 17th of October we will be participating in a beginners tournament, hosted by Lancaster University. We will be taking two teams consisting of a mixture of beginners and experienced players. This tournament is great fun and is a good way to get to know the rest of the team.
Atilla!
Atilla is a tournament held during the easter holidays in Eindhoven, Holland where you get the chance to play with teams from all across Europe in a fun tournament, with plenty of socials to keep you entertained!
Manchester Korfball Tournament
We will be hosting our own tournament on 5th December this year, so you get to represent your uni in your own back yard!
Nationals Tournaments
Every March tournaments are held for the 1st and 2nd teams where you get to play against the best teams from across the country.
