Manchester University Korfball Club would like to welcome all freshers to Manchester and say welcome back to everyone returning for another year!
The first training session for all beginners is on Wednesday 30th September 6pm - 8pm, at the Armitage Centre in Fallowfield. The first two training session are free, so you’ve got no excuse not to come down and give it a go! We will also be offering a free drink down the pub to everyone who attends the first session, followed by a social in fallowfield.
Some other things that are happening through the year include:
- Fast track freshers training session to get you up to speed on the rules and basic tactics
- Bar Wars social, which involves teams of 5-6 people attempting to be the first to reach the final bar and be crowned Bar Wars champions for the year!
- Pirate themed AU Social - who doesn’t love fancy dress?!
- Manchester tournament where we play host to teams from across the country and have a huge social afterwards.
- Attila - where Korfball returns to its roots in Holland for an annual tournament involving teams from all across europe in what is always a very fun weekend!
